Other Thoughts: This computer has not worked at all since I purchased it. I was directed to contact HP. HP is a sea of red tape, and has been quire unwilling to assist me. I was even directed to send it back to them. When the unit was returned, it contained a letter indicating that they could not find the problem, even though the computer does not work. Did they even turn it on? Beware of HP Customer Service when purchasing. Even the office of HP's President has been unable (or unwilling) to accelerate any processes.
Pros: Runs very well, no problems after a month of playing BF2. You can't beat the price for a desktop replacement like this.
Cons: You have to stay close to a power outlet, but that isn't really a problem for me.
Other Thoughts: I've decided to replace the slow 4200 rpm hard drive with a 7200 rpm Hitachi just for gaming purposes. and just because I can..
Pros: I really love these 17' HP laptops. I have an older model of the same thing, but like this new one better because the switch on the lid is impoved. Speed is cool! And lots of USBs! This is truely the laptop to buy!

Cons: HP Support is terrible! Had hard time understanding terrible english. Wireless does not work, Have spent 3 hours on phone with HP so far and Newegg says it is HP's problem.
