Before downloading an audiobook, you will need the Audible app. You can get it from the app store on your device. Once you do that, downloading your titles only takes a few clicks and you’re on your way to the world of great listens. See instructions below.
iOS app
- Open the Audible app and sign in.
- Tap My Library at the bottom of the screen then tap Cloud at the top (the box will be orange when you’re on the right page).
- On the Cloud tab, you should see any and all of the audiobooks you’ve already purchased. Tap the small arrow at the bottom-right corner of the cover art of the audiobook you want to download.
- Make sure you have a stable wifi connection and enough extra space on your device before downloading!
- Once it’s done downloading, the cover art will no longer have that small arrow on it and it won’t be greyed out.
If you run into any trouble with finding your audiobooks on the Cloud tab, try tapping the Refresh or All Titles buttons at the top of the screen.
How To Download Audiobooks From Library To Iphone
Android app
- Open the Audible app and sign in.
- Tap My Library in the top left corner.
- Tap Cloud.
- Select the audiobook you would like to download.
- Tap the Download Icon .
- Tap Download.
Note: For titles broken into multiple parts, first tap on the name of the audiobook to expand the selection to show each individual part and then tap to the right of the individual part.
Your audiobook will now begin downloading. You can begin listening during your download by tapping the Play button next to your audiobook.
Tip: You can pause or cancel your download by performing a long tap on the download progress bar. A paused download can always be resumed by tapping the progress bar again.
Windows 10 app
After signing into the app, go to the My Library screen, and tap or click the overflow menu next to the audiobook you are trying to download.
Tap or Click Download inside the overflow menu.
Your audiobook should begin download immediately.
Note: If you cannot find your audiobook in your library change the filter at the top of the screen by tapping or clicking Show: Cloud.
