I have been in yoga classes before and enjoyed them immensely. The same may be said of these videos. The instructors are encouraging and provide alternatives to the poses which puts less strain on knees, back and other common problem areas. Yes, the program does start out in a manner that some people may consider 'easier' but the progression of the classes throughout the (3) week period is challenging. Personally, having not worked out in the past (4) months, all the classes seemed to be challenging! I am heavier set, so because we use our bodies in yoga, it was more difficult than it would be for someone who is fit or much lighter. What is most encouraging is that the instructors stress that alignment be respected instead of actually getting into a certain pose. They take out the ego from the sessions. I absolutely bought into that philosophy and so the DVDs really work for me. I look forward to each session every morning. It is like meeting up with a friend who takes your hand gets you through it with a smile and motivating way about them. Way to go Beachbody! I hope they follow this program up with a part 2, 3, and 4!
